Logan Zarin makes bold move to join the world of outlaws late model tour

Logan Zarin is gearing up to burst onto the national racing scene with an electrifying debut in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series, presented by DIRTVision, in 2026. This ambitious 22-year-old driver from Hookstown, Pennsylvania, is not just another name on the roster; he’s set to join Trey Mills as one of the standout rookies vying for the prestigious MD3 Rookie of the Year title. This is a leap into the limelight that Zarin has meticulously prepared for over the past eight years, honing his skills in the competitive racing fields of western Pennsylvania.

Zarin’s racing journey began in the RUSH Late Model series at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, where he laid the groundwork for his future in the sport. Transitioning to the Super Late Model division in 2022 proved to be a pivotal move, as he clinched a victory and finished third in the points standings at Lernerville Speedway. His relentless pursuit of excellence continued on the United Late Model Series circuit, where he consistently finished in the top five over the last three years, battling against some of the fiercest competitors in northeastern racing.

With dreams of taking on the nation’s elite, Zarin and his team have decided that 2026 is the year to chase that ambition head-on. The daunting challenge of the 61-race World of Outlaws tour demands an unprecedented level of dedication and preparation, and Zarin has left no stone unturned. Last year, he focused on ensuring his operation was fully equipped for the challenges ahead, investing in a new truck and trailer, along with an arsenal of fresh Longhorn Chassis and Durham Racing Engines.

“I think we are prepared enough,” Zarin stated confidently. “Just kind of going through everything, making sure we’ve got everything. So, I think we’re about as prepared as we’re going to be, we’ve just got to see what the tour brings us.”

While many of the tracks on the World of Outlaws circuit will be uncharted territory for Zarin, he is no stranger to Volusia Speedway Park. Having made an appearance at the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals in 2024, he gained invaluable insights, even if his performance did not meet expectations. “Our results really weren’t what we expected,” he reflected. “It’s just big, it’s extremely big and fast. It’s just kind of different, and then the dirt down there is a little bit different, too. You’ve just got to kind of adapt to it a little bit. But I think we’ve got a little bit of a notebook built up with [Longhorn Chassis consultant] Vinny Guliani, so I think we should be good.”

Zarin has made a name for himself with impressive performances in his sporadic World of Outlaws appearances over the last five years, having raced his way into 10 Features and achieving top 15 finishes at Sharon Speedway in 2021 and 2025. Now, as he prepares to embark on this exciting new chapter, his sights are firmly set on one ultimate goal: “Win the Rookie of the Year.” With determination and a well-prepared team, Logan Zarin is poised to leave a mark on the racing world, and fans can hardly wait to see what this rising star will accomplish on the national stage.
