In a display of sheer dominance, Billy Bolt has kicked off his 2026 FIM SuperEnduro World Championship campaign with an electrifying victory in Gliwice, Poland. The reigning champion showcased his prowess by clinching the overall win, marking a resounding start to his title defense. Scoring an impressive 1-2-1 throughout the evening, Bolt secured a total of 60 points, catapulting him to the forefront of the championship standings right from the get-go.

Bolt wasted no time establishing his superiority, clocking the fastest lap during the SuperPole and earning an additional three vital points that ensured he had the coveted first gate pick for the opening race. As the lights went out, he shot off the line to seize the holeshot and immediately took command of the race, demonstrating exceptional control and precision. Lapping several competitors, he crossed the finish line with an impressive four-second lead, marking his first triumph of the season.

In the second race, Bolt faced a more challenging situation, starting from the second row due to the reverse-grid format. Yet, he quickly maneuvered through the pack, finding himself embroiled in a fierce three-way battle for the lead as the first lap drew to a close. Although a minor mistake momentarily hindered his progress, Bolt’s fierce determination shone through as he charged back to secure a solid second place on his FE 350.

Returning to the front row for the third race, Bolt once again executed a flawless start, quickly establishing a commanding lead. Settling into a smooth rhythm, he expertly navigated the course and achieved a comfortable victory with over five seconds to spare, concluding a phenomenal night in Poland.

With his stellar 1-2-1 results, Bolt not only claimed the overall win for the opening round but also extended his winning streak, which dates back to the 2023, 2024, and 2025 SuperEnduro seasons. This triumph positions him favorably in the championship race, giving him a 12-point edge after the first round of the seven-round series.

As he reflected on his performance, Bolt expressed satisfaction with the start of the season. “One round here in Poland is done, and it’s been a really solid start to the season. The track was challenging, and the dirt made it tough to push at times, with plenty of lines opening up for attacks, but overall, things came together well. I managed the races smartly and felt strong throughout the night. I had a big moment in race two, but I was able to recover and minimize the damage, which was important. To walk away with the overall win is something I’m really happy about. See you in Riesa!”

The anticipation now builds for round two, set to take place in Riesa, Germany, on January 3, as fans and competitors alike await the next chapter in this thrilling championship saga.
