After two tumultuous seasons where he was thrust into the action mid-year, Colapinto is now poised to make his mark with Alpine, having officially taken over Logan Sargeant’s seat at Williams during the 2023 season and then Jack Doohan’s at Alpine from Imola onward.
As he embarks on this new chapter, 2024 marks a significant turning point for the 22-year-old driver. This off-season has been transformative, allowing him to truly integrate with the Enstone-based team and prepare meticulously for the challenges that lie ahead. Of course, it is very different to anything I have experienced so far and I think that is the same for most drivers on the grid,” he noted.
