Audi Revolut F1 Team unveils bold identity: Name, logo, and audacious vision for 2026

The motorsport world is buzzing with excitement as the Audi Revolut F1 Team has officially unveiled its name, logo, and a groundbreaking debut date for the 2026 Formula 1 season. This marks a significant milestone for the German brand as it steps into the pinnacle of motorsport, promising an electrifying future. Scheduled for a global launch in Berlin on January 20, 2026, fans can look forward to an immersive public presentation the following day, where the team will showcase the striking livery of its inaugural racing car.

The team name itself is a product of a powerful partnership between Audi and the fintech giant Revolut, a collaboration that was first announced in July 2025. This alliance is not just a branding exercise; it represents a strategic fusion of innovation, performance, and international outreach. The integration of Revolut Business into the team’s financial operations, along with the use of Revolut Pay on the team’s online store, underscores the ambition behind this collaboration.

The Berlin event aims to encapsulate the essence of the new brand, emphasizing clarity, technical intelligence, and the thrill of motorsport. It will be the first time that the Audi Revolut F1 Team presents itself as a unified entity to fans, partners, and the media. As the 2026 season approaches, this revelation will follow the recent unveiling of the Audi R26 concept, illustrating how Audi’s distinctive design language is set to translate onto the Formula 1 grid.

In a significant rebranding move, Sauber Motorsport AG will now be known as Audi Motorsport AG. Alongside this, the Bicester technical center in the UK will adopt the name Audi Motorsport Technology Centre UK. While the parent companies will retain their existing names, the organizational structure will continue to thrive in three key locations: Neuburg an der Donau for hybrid power unit development, Hinwil in Switzerland for chassis and racing operations, and Bicester, strategically situated in the heart of “Motorsport Valley,” to enhance connections with talent and partners in the F1 ecosystem.

Revolut, a company founded in 2015 and already boasting over 65 million customers, sees its collaboration with Audi as a central pillar in its ambitious growth strategy, aiming to reach 100 million users. This partnership will leverage the vast global audience of Formula 1, providing exclusive race access and benefits through the app, thus integrating Revolut deeply into the F1 landscape.

The 2026 entry will be Audi’s first foray into Formula 1 with a factory team and its own power unit, developed by Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg. This initiative aligns with new FIA regulations that mandate a 50% electric component in hybrid units and the use of sustainable fuels, paving the way for technological transfer to road mobility. In 2024, the Audi Group delivered 1.7 million Audi vehicles alongside approximately 76,000 units from its brands Bentley, Lamborghini, and Ducati, achieving revenues of €64.5 billion with an operational profit of €3.9 billion. Through the Audi Revolut F1 Team, the group is committed to advancing a more sustainable and connected premium mobility offering, utilizing Formula 1 as a global platform for innovation and visibility.
